"Klyuchevka" salt
We boil "Klyuchevka" salt in the Russian North, in the heart of the Onega Peninsula, in the once-famous salt-making center of the village of Una (Unskoye Usolye). We use ancient technology involving fire, firewood, and the legendary Una water brine springs located deep underground, just as our ancestors once did.
Hence the name — "Klyuchevka".
The salt has a rich mineral composition. An absolutely pure product, handmade.
"Klyuchevka" salt was valued not only by the Pomors — the inhabitants of the North — but throughout all of Russia.
